Hey @CodePen -- in your docs it says linking to other pens as resources with query strings is a no-go. Is there a specific reason why this limitation? I'm trying to build a cute custom overlay that populates from a query string, but just found out I can't/shouldn't do this 😉💖

Additionally -- any ideas on a better way to go about this kind of idea? I just thought it'd be cool to provide a way to easily link an overlay for Codevember projects.

Okay, I'm headed down the road of using this functionality: blog.codepen.io/2016/02/22/make-a-variation-of-a-pen-keeping-one-master-for-easy-updates/ I'll just have a pen that contains a function, and then when you want to generate your own overlay, you just include the pen, and call the function with a custom object for your values! /shrug
