      Fast internet speeds are a luxury service, even if that's normalized in American culture, etc, it still is in our best interest as developers to optimize the experiences we create, instead of bloating them with the expectation that our fast internet will carry them.

    With this being said, I do think the tone of my original tweet was fairly rude and uncalled-for, so I've deleted it. I hope you see where I was going with that, though. There's huge merit in building for less-privileged demos.
