I tried a little bit with an <feGaussianBlur /> primitive and it didn't seem to help much but let me see if there's more I can do! The rendering is like a random fractal noise seed so it's at least gonna be a little wonky.

Cleaned up the distortion so it at least doesn't look like it gets cut off? But it's still kinda noisy. I'll keep working with it.
