        👋🏻 Hey, so, this weekend I became acutely aware of where my activism on Twitter ends. Inaction against oppressive groups, or passive action (e.g. RT-ing "fascism is bad" tweets), is effectively violent action against minoritized folx. I don't like letting people down like that.

    🛠 Built with Functions, will keep a daily tally of the amount of dumb things I've tweeted, count up the words in each tweet, and translate that word count to a monthly donation to an organization or creator that is doing amazing work on these critical fronts.

      🗣 This way, even when I'm not actively speaking out against fascism/white supremacy in this community (which I will be improving my efforts on, by the by), I'm still taking action against those vectors for hate. I CAN do better and it is my obligation to do so.

            Quick footnotes 1⃣ RT-ing "fascism bad" tweets isn't a negative action, but it also isn't really anything useful. Of course fascism bad. What am *I* gonna do about it? 2⃣I would love help making the code for this thing better so I can open-source it! DM if interested! 💛
