for what it's worth, if you're just good with HTML, CSS, & have decent vanilla JS chops, you'll be able to keep up with whatever trendy framework they're hawking down in the meat markets today. it's not as dizzying as they want it to seem; it's the same web as the neopets days 💛

you'll probably have to work with tailwind or react or remix or sass or angular or idk backbone at some point; your best bet is to know what's under those hoods.
I know the industry sometimes loves the brave, golden, over-earnest boys of abstraction and sometimes it loves the stoic, patient, stubborn craftsfolk of the web platform. so goes the wheel, we learn from them & them from us, but the fundamentals persist 🥰
give yourself a break; learn what you want when you want, or what you need to when you need to. the web is for everyone.
