Makin' some progress on the ol' portfolio reboot. Handling page transitions via push-state AJAX with BarbaJS - needs polish, but I'm stoked.
Cute little hover state for the 'work' section. Clicking will pull up a modal with more info about the project.
More progress. Dialed back some of the flashier animations for the sake of shipping sooner. Next: implementing
@prismicio
CMS/some kinda CI.
@prismicio
When I said "implementing CMS" was next, what I CLEARLY meant was "making stupid messages show up in Chrome Dev Console.
All basic styles, typography, hover states, etc are complete. Today is for implementing the API-based CMS and deploying.
Instead of using Prismic for dynamic content, I'm using
@NetlifyCMS
and a bigass Gulp pipeline to smash templates/content together.
@NetlifyCMS
It's not ideal. Feels messy with all the Gulping and Pugging, and I'd really like a cleaner solution but this is Good Enough For Now™ so.
Netlify is a great solution, though. Likely keep the codebase and content up there -- just need to improve the build process!
